Thrive

“I am like an olive tree, thriving in the house of God.” Psalm 52:8

When trees thrive, they have healthy, vibrant leaves, produce fruit and grow. They can withstand drought and flood. Their strong roots keep them upright during storms. Like a well rooted tree, when we thrive, we achieve our best, grow in wisdom, character, resilience and faith, and face the future with confidence.  At ABS, we recognise that cultivating character and personal integrity must walk hand-in-hand with pursuing academic excellence. We thrive when we are nurtured in love, supported by a strong community and equipped to meet our lives’ challenges.                        

The THRIVE framework ensures that academic achievements are matched by strong character development, guiding children to grow in wisdom, compassion and resilience. Children understand what they need to do to earn a THRIVE star. It takes hard work and determination but everyone can achieve one. THRIVE stars are worn with pride and celebrated in Collective Worship.
