Quality Ingredients

Over 90% of the food is freshly prepared onsite each day by trained chefs using great quality ingredients, including:

  • Free range eggs
  • Sustainably sourced fish
  • Meat which satisfies UK welfare standards
  • A wide range of seasonal and British produce

All dishes on the menus are free from undesirable food additives and hydrogenated fats and do not include any GM ingredients.

Catering for Different Needs

ISS works with parents, guardians, schoolteachers and pupil councils to develop their menus and ensure each day offers tasty and nutritious meal options.

Lunch choices include a range of meat and vegetarian dishes accompanied by fresh vegetables.

Pupils can select a hot meal, put together a salad for themselves from the salad bar and choose from fresh fruit, yogurt or a baked dessert for pudding.

ISS can provide bespoke dietary menus where requested via their Special Diets Process. For more information on special menus, email ISS’ Nutrition Team at nutrition@uk.issworld.com

Pupils are also welcome to bring in a packed lunch. We ask that they do not contain nuts, nut products, fizzy drinks, sweets or crisps. We are always happy to discuss pupils' nutritional needs and tastes and to discuss any questions parents might have about providing balanced meals which are low in sugar and salt.

Every day there is also the option of Jacket Potatoes with either Tuna, Cheese or Beans
